Things golfers ask before we touch the wrench

Do I need to bring the little wrench from the headcover?
Bring it if you still have it. We keep OEM families on the pegboard, but matching your wrench to ours is how we catch a cousin hex that almost fits. “Almost” is how bolts round.
Why torque the adapter if I already clicked it on the range?
A hand-tight sleeve moves. The hoop then sees a loft the ring does not own. We seat the bolt to the spec on the hosel card before the first ball. That is not theater. That is how a click becomes a number you can reread in November.
Can you jack the loft without the hoop?
We can turn a ring in the dark. We will not write a notch that way. The carbon copy is a hoop window plus a click, not a click alone. If the hoop is down, we rebook. We do not guess.
My irons need to be stronger. Can you do that here?
No. This bay does not own a bending mill. We will audit iron loft so the ladder still makes sense after the woods move, then send you to a shop that bends. Mixing those jobs on one ticket is how people leave confused.
Why do you write humidity on the sheet?
East Ohio sits near the Allegheny. A Tuesday at 8:00 in April is a different ball than a Friday at 4:00 in August. The notch we keep is tied to the air we measured. If you play most of your golf in river-valley mornings, we bias the window that way and say so on the copy.
Can I get a pair done on Saturday?
Only if we start by nine. The bay closes at noon. A rushed last three clicks is how adapters get left loose. We would rather give you Tuesday at 8:00.
Do you sell new heads if mine will not hold a window?
No. We will write that the current sleeve cannot hold what you need. We will not roll a demo cart onto the pad. Bring the gamer. Leave with the gamer, jacked or honestly unchanged.
What if the click chart and the hoop disagree?
We hunt adapter play, a ferrule that walked, or a ring that was never indexed to N. We do not invent a fourth click the factory never cut. If the hardware is tired, we say that before we take more of your morning.
Is a lesson the same as a sleeve jack?
No. A lesson changes the motion. A jack changes the seat the head occupies. If the motion is the problem, a plus-one click will not invent lag. We will say that. Read the lesson-or-sleeve page if you are unsure which ticket to send.
Do you take walk-ins?
Not during a booked morning. If the pad is empty at 8:15 on a Tuesday, knock. After nine, send a ticket. Sunday and Monday the bay is dark.
